It is headed by Michael Blank, a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a Corporate Member (with Honours) of the Institute of Revenues Rating and Valuation, and a member of the Rating Surveyors’ Association. He has over thirty years experience in rating, including five years with the Valuation Office Agency-the government body responsible for drawing up Rateable Values and dealing with appeals against them.

He continues to have an excellent relationship with the Valuation Office Agency and this greatly assists him in his work, as well as his very wide-ranging technical competence and experience with a vast range of property types all over the UK. Together, these make him one of the country’s leading rating practitioners.

As well as rates savings-based fees, we frequently provide money saving consultancy advice at very competitive hourly rates. We also offer a free desktop appraisal of the rating assessments of most types of property.

Based in Manchester, the firm covers the whole of the UK from this central location.
